|Body||Well Angel calls me last night as asks me this…because her ex, Philip asked her, I took a sigh, and told her this:
Men have a problem be unbias with women they are interested or have been interested in. Usually if man is friends with a woman he sees her as a potential. That potential becomes greater if he’s already been intimate with her at one point
Women can decide a man is a friend and keep him as a friend and nothing more…those odds lessen if she’s been intimate with him.
In truth when a man and woman have broken up and they attempt a friendship it will in turn put strains on any other relationship they persue…only because in their attempt to be friends old feelings are bound to resurface and the exguy will just simply wait for the present guy to mess up so the girl can confide in her “friend” about her issues without tryin to work it out with her present man (who should be her friend anyhow)
SO in a nutshell….no ex’s shouldnt be friends…its too complicated. You broke up for reason and there needs to be space…are there any exceptions?
Yes, In the case that the present boyfriend befriends the ex boyfriend without any interference from the girl so that brotherly respect can develop…but even that must be taken with a grain of salt.
Men are territorial, even if they move on with their lives they hate to think the girl they used to be with has found someone “better” , so the issue with men and their ex’s is not really about love moreso than it is about pride.
